Youth Community Centers

Establishing Clubs in After School Programs: The program “Shababcenter” trained 20 lead trainers working with youth in non-formal education to create social engagement activities and establish democratic principles.

Managed by IEA in partnership with the Kamel Youssef Cultural Center and with support from MEPI the program enhances sustainable development, environmental practices and governance in an after-school program through media, environmental, creative writing and communication art clubs.

The program expanded and the 20 lead trainers were deployed in 6 after school clubs which worked with 47 schools and established environmental club.
