Circles of Understanding – CU-Forum
The Circles of Understanding-Forum is a joint initiative between UNDP’s Peace Building Project and the International Education Association (IEA).
Within the framework of promoting the capacities of civil society stakeholders to promote peace building, the CU-Forum will bring together Lebanese youth, from different backgrounds in a highly interactive and participatory online Learning Circle supported by community activities. It brings together Lebanese youth and school teachers from different backgrounds and regions, in a highly interactive and participatory circle with online learning collaboration and activities.
The CU-Forum is used as a structured and innovative means that will provide the youth and school teachers with a global context to develop understanding and reflective processes about emerging social issues, in their communities. By engaging them in direct applications that require listening, reflective processes, research and analyses, participants will produce a final collaborative work such as a publication, video, blog or a mural. The collaborative work will express and demonstrate understanding of their views from the perspective of others.
